Only 174 more days left - just a little update

We have 174 days left. Sometimes that seems like forever and other times I am not sure if its enough time for us to get everything done we need to get done. We did get our cake ordered and have picked out the four flavors. We tried to go with flavors that people normally wouldnt make for themselves, hopefully everyone will like them.
I think we have finally got all the save the dates sent out, just mailed the last three out today...woot woot.
We met with another photographer last night. I think we might go with this one. They have done alot of shoots at Valle Vista and I love guest book we can get from them to have everyone sign at the wedding.
I have my first meeting with a florist next week.
We got two of our flower/snowflake girls' dresses ordered and yesterday we ordered the snowflakes that they will be dropping.
We have been tossing around alot of ideas. The more we talk about it the more excited I get, if I get much more excited I might just pop.
Oh yea Rich found a great website that hopefully I think we can get alot of stuff from and it calmed my panick about what kind of snowflakes the girls would drop so that was good.
Ok, thats my update for now...as always i can use song suggestions, we still have only decided on the processional, recessional, and bouquet toss songs so far.

Bridal Show

On Sunday me, the girls, Sherri, Mom,and Gwen hit the bridal show in Franklin. It was a fun time, except the Russian mail order bride telling me that my face needed alot of facials before it would look good. She better watch it,I will have her ass deported. I didnt care for my hair style they did either but Ashtons was really pretty. I really wanted to check out some Florist but they only had one so I didnt get that accomplished. It was still a fun day.

We did get some of the save the dates mailed out today. The rest will be going out soon soon soon...

Just a quick little update on our wedding progress

Well within the next few day I am hoping that we can get the save the dates sent out to everyone. We ordered our invitations and received them in the mail the other day. Its going to take a little work to get those put together but they are just perfect. I knew I would love them but they by far exceeded my expectations. Of course we wont be sending those out for awhile.
We picked out our cake people. We are going with Sugar Mamas in Mooresville. We went for a little cake testing on Good Friday. The cake is soooo sooo good, just ask Brad.
I think our next little project will be either the programs or our play list. The play list is going to be hard just because there are so many songs I like and I am sure Rich has alot of songs he wants..I know there is a list of do not play songs he has :)
So that's where we stand at 231 days left to go. There is still alot more to get done but I think we are moving right along.

Save the dates

We received our save the date cards in the mail other day. They are so cool. It was pretty exciting see our names and wedding date on something like that. We will be sending them out in the next few weeks.
While me and Rich were putting the magnets in their protective plastic covers I just keep thinking this is one of the coolest things we have ever done together. Some people might think that is really gay since we were just stuffing our magnets into plastic covers but for me it was great. Its one step closer to our wedding...one step closer to something that I never dreamt would happen...sorry Rich one knot tighter on that noose.

who knew music decisions were going to be so tough

Well deciding what songs to play has been by far one of the toughest decisions, at least for me anyways. At first I thought that it would be easy but the more I looked the tougher it got. We have finally started making some headway though. At one point the processional list consist of about 30 songs that I wanted to use. Well everyone knows that you can only have one. So we finally decided on just one, I think its the perfect one. I figured our guest would get a little annoyed if I walked down the isle 30 times. We decided on our recessional song also. This one was a little easier. The song to play while tossing the bouquet was easy to pick. We still have more decisions to make but I believe that we have the toughest out of the way.

Lucky for us Dakota will be playing while our guest arrive and Roshie is going to sing two songs during the ceremony. It means so much to us that they are going to be a party of our wedding.

So the only songs left to pick our the father/daughter dances, mother/son dance, garter toss, and not sure what else. I have a handy dandy list but just not in front of me. So if anyone has any suggestions for those songs then we are all ears.
